1. Does my chocolate fit through the letter box?
The postal box is 4cm high which in a few cases has not been able to fit through standard letter boxes. If it can't fit and a delivery is missed, Royal Mail can redeliver or keep safe for collection.
2. How much is postage?
Postage is calculated by Royal Mail at checkout. I offer first-class post only as I want the chocolate gift to get to you as soon as possible! On average it's £3.58. International tracked post is also available.
3. When will my order arrive?
The chocolate is individually made to order and can take up to 3 days to make and postage about another 2 working days, so please give at least 5 days in total especially during busy seasonal times throughout the year. They are made to order to ensure the chocolate is as fresh as possible to get the maximum eating pleasure!
4. Where do you deliver?
We deliver to anywhere in the UK. We also deliver to Europe and America.
5. What colours do you use?
The colours used and their E numbers are -
E120 red (non-vegan), E171 silver/white, E172 bronze, matcha green tea powder, E133 blue. These are likely to change as more natural plant-based colours come on the market.
6. How big are the chocolate pieces?
The chocolate pieces are large weighing in at 300g for the smallest size. They are thick too, so mind your teeth biting into them! They are so big because firstly you get a good amount of chocolate and secondly, they survive the postage system well without breaking 99% of the time. If your chocolate arrives broken, we can only apologise. As good as the postage system is, it's out of our control unfortunately and this can sometimes happen. However, the chocolate is designed to be sturdy and the packaging is carefully selected to protect the chocolate as much as possible. So, if your chocolate arrives in 1000 bits, get in touch, we are here to help.
7. What happens if my order arrives and it is melted?
This is unfortunately the burden of posting chocolate in hot weather. The chocolate studio where the bars are created is air conditioned and product is kept cold until posted. After that point it is out of our hands and at the mercy of the postal system. If your order arrives melted, please get in touch so we can sort it out.
8. Do you make custom made bespoke chocolate pieces?
Yes we do. Please get in touch and let us know what you are after. Have a look at some of my previous bespoke chocolate work here. Please note there is a minimum order quantity of 10 pieces.
9. Do you sell wholesale?
Yes we can, our production facility is rather small however so lead times can be quite long. But with plenty of notice we can accommodate your needs.
10. Is your chocolate vegan?
Our dark chocolate is vegan and it has its own tempering machine to ensure no dairy from our milk chocolate can cross contaminate. Our chocolate moulds are also separate for milk and dark chocolate use. Please note when ordering the red colour we use is not vegan.
11. Is your chocolate nut free?
We don't put nuts into the bars ourselves, however the chocolate manufacturers who I buy from also make nut products like pralines, nibs etc. So I cannot guarantee the chocolate will be completely nut free! As allergies can be triggered by the smallest trace, I would advise not to purchase our chocolate to be totally safe if you have a nut allergy.
